 Muladhara, Anahata: Exploring the relationship between open hips and
a free heart.

We speak so often of living with an open heart, but to really be present and loving we need to have freedom in the pelvic girdle. A strong and supple base allows us to live and love safely and freely. A tree can only grow as tall as it's roots can grow deep.

In this workshop, we will practice Asana that focuses on precise and detailed alignment, especially hip openers and backbends, - exploring the subtle connection between aligning the pelvic floor and allowing space for the heart to blossom; Pranayama, Bandhas, chanting, and visualization exercises. We will explore the treasure box of the pelvic floor,  tilling the soil of our foundation to renew our connection to our authentic selves. Then the lotus blossoms of our hearts can open. Rooting deeply, true freedom is safe and possible.

Open to all levels, though some previous Yoga experience is recommended.
